Turmeric, has been used for more than 4,000 years as
spice, colouring agent and as medicine to treat a variety of health conditions.
From ancient times of Siddhars till to date, medical practitioners both from
East and West have used turmeric for its effective healing properties. In our
Indian homes, remedies which have been passed down from our grand grannies,
have proven to be very effective in treating many common ailments.
Scientists
have realized the importance of curcumin/turmeric and are doing research
extensively. *Studies show that curcumin is a very powerful antioxidant that
helps to fight infections, reduce inflammation, treat digestive problems,
Ulcerative colitis, Stomach Ulcers, Osteoarthritis, Heart Disease, liver
problems, and skin diseases and some cancers.

this:
Soak a few
pieces of clean cotton cloth in a glass of water with turmeric powder and dry

cotton cloth soaked in Turmeric on your eyelids before bed time.

relief from Sore throat and Cough :
Try this:
Take a
quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder and a pinch of black pepper and mix it well
in a glass of milk. Taken before bedtime, soothes throat and give relief from
cough.

gum problems, Try this:
Add
a pinch of Turmeric to a quarter teaspoon of coconut oil. Dab the mixed paste
with a clean cotton cloth or with tip of finger and massage gums. Use this
twice a day after brushing your teeth.
